Mission Statement

We believe that healthy families are crucial to the development that occurs from the beginning of life through early childhood.   Respectfully building on each family's strengths and goals, Head Start works in partnership with children, families, and communities to promote and advocate for healthy development.

Head Start is a comprehensive child development program providing education, health, nutrition, and social services to families with children ages three to five years.

Together, the Head Start staff and parents design individualized plans that will meet the needs of each child and family and nurture their development.   Parents are encouraged to volunteer in the classroom, attend parent workshops.
